We call this one The Forger’s Hook, a novel design from Tyroll Forge and Tool. Generik designed this mount for his forging hammers. Ancho into a stud and have the tool you need your hammers are handy and safe. A tremendously versatile bracket! Holds tools of all sorts from guitars to ukuleles, headphones, tennis rackets in reach. Brooms, shovels, raked, tennis rackets, walking stick, the list keeps growing. Recently, customers have added skateboards and paddling oars. Forger Hook Dimensions:

2-1/4 ” WIDTH between tines
1 ” HEIGHT
3 ” DEPTH projecting from wall

Single screw attachment with a specially formed dimple to exactly accommodate #8 bugle headed screws, which also adds visual interest to the hook as the metal flows around the screw, preserving the plasticity of the hot metal.

A medium duty hook, not for use hoisting objects overhead nor for lifting persons. The max suggested load is 10#. All of Generik’s hooks are one of a kind, but this one is really impressive in terms of the wide variety of applications. Notes from the Blacksmith:
The Forger’s Hook was conceived to fill the need for a way to store quite a few forging Hammers in a small shop. This hook proved to have several advantages over other methods of Hammer storage, due to the way the hook swivels on the pre-tightened attachment screw, which accommodates asymmetrical hammer head shape, allowing Hammer to hang truly vertically. Easy, secure, one handed on/off of Hammers and lots of other things. One can quickly run out of wall space, resulting in an inspirational display of whatever you formerly had to hunt and scramble to find on the floor.

This hook is strictly utilitarian in design and form, not having a curve or scroll, yet features the Penny End which is found on our other hooks as well as the highest quality Ironwork, such as gates, grilles, furniture and other indoor accoutrements. In this case it is for function rather than beauty, but this hook does have it’s charms.

Hot Hand Forging, especially at the corners, results in a strong shape holding the necessary right angles for this hook to provide a wobble free and secure perch for even the most sensitive Musical instruments.

This double hook design allows otherwise troublesome items such as cross bows, tennis rackets, unicycles, skateboards,headphones, brooms, garden tools, etc to be secure, yet the penny end allows easy one handed operation, so you can feel confident using these hooks up high. The penny end is what makes this hook so much more dependable than typical store bought similar items.
