Pricing is per hook. Suitable for a wide range of ceramic and metal cup or mug handles. We have yet to hear of one that won’t fit. Choose Mini or Standard size.

Recommended specific fastener:
#6 – #8 wood screw; common countersunk or bugle head available at local hardware store. Utilizes shorter screws for mount under cabinet.

There may be variations from hook to hook, as these are not widgets. Generik keeps specifications as tight as possible to maintain functional and design integrity. Our record is consistent as evidenced by years of happy mug hangers. Dimensional variations reflect the reality that these are individually forged.

Available in Black, Silver, Copper, Metallic Brown, and Iron Gray Clear Coat. We use rust inhibiting spray paints. Rustoleum products have been super reliable for us. The finish highlights how few hammer blows show up on the workpiece….a unique feature of Generik’s iron work.

The Tiffany Cup Hook is named for our customer Tiffany, who asked us to design it for her special traveler collection of coffee mugs. She knew she wanted her mugs to hang under her kitchen cabinets and seeing our other offerings she knew she wanted Generik’s Penny End Scrolls. Generik rendered drawings based on her request and had prototypes made and production run hot off the forge in less than 2 weeks. Voila! She loved the result: an exceptionally lovely round cup hook that is affixed with a small screw under a shelf or cabinet without piercing through to the interior.

The hooks’ opening accommodates the largest, thickest mug handle, or even two more delicate tea cups per hook. Look to our elongated Kira Stein Hook as an additional option for Beer Steins.

Few Smiths even attempt to forge the Penny End Scroll. Even fewer are using round stock due to striking difference in Hammer face, Anvil surface and other specific tooling as compared with usual flat stock Forging. We seem to be the first and currently the only ones doing both. Clumsy attempts at Forging penny ends and using round stock with typical tooling results in a beat up surface, and a poor penny end smoosh, not the subtle forging marks and refined penny end on these.
